Selda Koydemir, Ph.D.

Selda is a London-based freelance user research consultant. To date, Selda provided user research services to various private and public sector clients as well as digital and design agencies in the UK. She worked on finance, wellness, education, media, retail and telecommunication. Selda is passionate about applying psychological theories in understanding users, solving their problems, and providing product teams with insights that shape user-centric products. She also enjoys mentoring junior and aspiring researchers in the field. Prior to her user research career, she pursued an academic life in psychology for about 15 years and held several research and teaching positions throughout Europe.
Apart from user research, Selda provides consultancy to business leaders in tech to help them thrive in both their professional and personal lives. She also provides training for product and design teams in order to help them work collaboratively and build a productive workplace culture.
